Thuja* is the fancy name for our good old Canadian cedar!

• Works wonders in our winter concoctions, like balms and Vicks-style ointments

• Improves the appearance of leg skin and its imperfections

• Can be used on the skin (however, occasional and short-term use is recommended) and in diffusers (do not diffuse undiluted. See Precautions tab)

Warning: contains thujone, an abortifacient and neurotoxic substance.

*Do not confuse with Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica).

Precautions

• Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Avoid in children under 7 years old

• Avoid in people with epilepsy

• Avoid internal use

• Do not diffuse undiluted. Mix with other mild essential oils, at a ratio of 10%

• Use on the skin is recommended sporadically and for a short term only

• Contains a neurotoxic and abortifacient molecule, thujone
