Our St. John's Wort oil macerate (Hypericum perforatum) is made from fresh St. John's Wort flowers and leaves grown in Quebec. St. John's Wort has powerful properties. It is applied to burns, sunburns, and other skin irritations. It is also popular in muscle and joint oil and ointment recipes (hello, pinched sciatic nerve).

An oil macerate, also called an oleic extract, is an oil resulting from the maceration of a plant in a "carrier" vegetable oil. The maceration process allows this oil to collect and retain the active principles of the plants. Our St. John's Wort macerate is made from organic sunflower oil from Quebec.
