Our calendula oil macerate (Calendula officinalis) is made from fresh flowers grown in Quebec. Known for its softening properties that repair dry skin, calendula is prized in the manufacture of after-sun, anti-itch, and repairing skincare products.

It is also a plant of choice in the manufacture of products for babies and sensitive skin.

An oil macerate, also called an oleic extract, is an oil resulting from the maceration of a plant in a so-called "carrier" vegetable oil. The maceration process allows this oil to collect and retain the active ingredients of the plants. Our calendula macerate is made from organic sunflower oil from Quebec.
