INCI: Arachidyl Alcohol* (and) Behenyl Alcohol (and) Arachidyl Glucoside*

*Arachidyl alcohol and arachidyl glucoside are derived from rapeseed oil and do not pose a risk to people allergic to peanuts. Allergic reactions are considered rare and usually involve a reaction to alkyl glucosides.

Appearance: small white pellets

Solubility: soluble in oil, disperses in hot water, insoluble in cold water

Glucolipid type: derived from a mixture of sugars (wheat, corn, and/or cassava) and fats (canola oil)

Dosage: 1-5% (20 to 25% of the oil phase)

Tolerance: pH 3-10

Melting point: 74 to 78°C
