• 375 ml (1 ½ cup) previously boiled water(The water is boiled to improve the shelf life of the detangler.)
• 45 ml (3 tbsp) organic marshmallow root*
• 30 ml (2 tbsp) store-bought or homemade natural liquid conditioner**
• 5 to 10 drops essential oils of your choice (optional)(See our article "6 essential oils for hair care" for more information!)

1. Boil the water with the marshmallow root to make a decoction.2. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.3. Let cool slightly and strain with a cheesecloth or fine sieve.4. When the decoction is still warm, use a whisk and add the conditioner, then the essential oils.5. Transfer the detangler to the spray bottle.

Shake well before each use.Spray into hair and detangle. After two or three spritzes, you'll see, your hair will be silky smooth and ready for detangling!After making your hair detangler, do you have any marshmallow root left over?
